Terms of Use

In short: Astro Widgets is free to download; one small or medium widget is free forever. Astro Widgets Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. The App is for information and enjoyment, not professional advice. Be kind to the App and we will be kind to you.

1. Agreement

The Astro Widgets iOS application, its widget extension and this website (together, the "App") are operated by Tanriverdi, Muhammed, a sole proprietorship registered in Belgium (enterprise number BE 0788.443.120) and trading as S3soft ("S3soft", "we", "us", "our"). Planetaro and Astro Widgets are brands of S3soft.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and S3soft. By installing or using the App you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The App

Astro Widgets draws astrological and astronomical information as iPhone Home Screen widgets: planetary hours, an hour dial and hours table, day rulers, moon phases, moon signs, moon calendars and distance, solar and lunar eclipse countdowns, retrograde periods, sun season, sunrise and sunset times, daylight and a solar system diagram, in single-content designs and multi-module mixes with several theme packs. Features may be added, changed or removed over time; the catalog of designs and theme packs may be updated remotely.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 where that is the applicable age of digital consent) and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. You must have an Apple ID in good standing and a compatible iPhone running iOS 26.0 or later.

4. Free and Pro

Free tier

The App is free to download. Without a subscription you can save one widget design in a small or medium size and use every widget type available in those sizes, with the default theme packs. The free tier has no time limit.

Astro Widgets Pro

"Astro Widgets Pro" ("Pro") is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited saved designs, large widgets, every theme pack including seasonal drops, and any other feature marked as Pro in the App. Pro is offered as a weekly plan and an annual plan. Exact prices are displayed in the App in your local currency before you subscribe and may differ by region.

5. Billing, trials, cancellation, refunds

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. We never see or store your payment details.
  • Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trial. Where offered, a free trial (for example 7 days on the annual plan) is available once per Apple ID to users eligible according to the App Store. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription starts and you are charged the displayed price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Managing and cancelling. Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the App's Settings screen. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
  • Price changes. If a price changes, Apple will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.
  • Restore. Use Restore purchases in the App to re-activate Pro on a new device with the same Apple ID.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the App's code, data tables or designs; not to circumvent the subscription or entitlement checks; not to redistribute the theme packs, artwork or widget designs; and not to use the App in any way that breaks the law or Apple's App Store terms.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its code, designs, theme packs, artwork, text, name and logo are owned by S3soft or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App under these Terms. Screenshots of your own Home Screen for personal or review purposes are welcome. Apple, iPhone and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.; astronomical glyphs are part of Unicode.

8. Accuracy and disclaimers

Planetary hours, moon phases, eclipse times and other values are calculated on your device from established astronomical algorithms and bundled tables for the place and time zone you choose. We work hard to keep them accurate, but times can vary by a minute or more from other sources due to different conventions (for example how sunrise is defined), rounding, time-zone rule changes or an incorrectly chosen place. Eclipse visibility is a prediction for your general area, not a guarantee.

The App presents astrology for reflection and enjoyment. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice, and it should not be used for decisions where accurate timing is safety-critical. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, S3soft and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

10. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and S3soft, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance or consumer protection claims, or third-party intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Your use of the App must also comply with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.

11. Changes, termination, governing law

We may update these Terms; the current version is always on this page with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it; cancelling a subscription is done through Apple as described above. These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, and the courts of Belgium have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
